I bought some items at Forever 21 and one item at Old Navy and I thought I'd review them and how they compare to the typical all Nike products I buy.
High impact: $10.80 low impact: $13.80
Verdict: these are great! I honestly recommend then for smaller chested girls, they really work well for me but I don't have much to support! I will be buying more. I bought size small in both.
Top shorts: $15.80
Bottom shorts: $13.80
The top dolphin style running shorts I love for yoga, barre and low impact gym workouts or walks. It has a brief style underwear attached which is nice and I like the dolphin cut! The fabric is a great quality! I wear them allot and they have a back zipper along the waist band for keys or gels. I don't run in them they tend to hike up giving me chaffing. I will buy more! Cute and comfy.
The bottom orange/chevron shorts I wear for running. I only buy running shirts with the longer bike style short underneath. These are very minimal with just a drawstring, no pockets or zippers. For the price and stylish fun patterns I really like them! The quality of fabric isn't great, I sweated allot. For short runs these are ok but I wouldn't buy these again and I will stick with the more expensive and better quality shorts.
Both are in a size medium.
I really like the reflective pattern on these leggings! They fit well but are a bit low cut for me and my booty. I find myself pulling them up allot like I do with Nike Pro pants and capris. They just don't have a drawstring to tighten them. But the length is good! I'm tall and I felt they where long enough. Not as long as my Nike running leggings but ok. For gym workouts I liked these but for running I wouldn't get them again but for other workouts yes!
Size small (the medium felt loose)
This was such a great buy! It's completely see through so it's perfect for warm days without feeling naked. It's comfortable and cute! Love love!
Size medium (I like my tops loose)
I like Old Navy's sports bras they work well so I thought I'd try something else and I liked this full-zip jacket. I wish it had a hood! I'm a hood freak. But it has thumb holes which is always a win. But this is the WORST! For how much it costs I'm surprised. I didn't notice it when I bought it but after wearing it I noticed how terrible the fabric is and how odd it fits. The fabric is super super stiff, it had no give at all. Try running in a jean jacket? This is what that feels like. I have skinny arms and the arms felt tight on me but lose in the torso. It's usually the opposite! It just is an all around failure. DONT buy this!!!!!! I won't ever buy a jacket again.
