Week 3 is done! Every third week is a "step back week" where my long distance weekend run is lowered to focus more on speed. It's odd i'm having bad and good runs still but at least the humidity went down for a bit a few days. I did a 5k race so I finally have a "best time" for that distance since I don't really do that distance. But the 5k day went great! I ran with my friend Kristen and we did so good. Didn't stop once, although I really wanted to run faster at times but I could tell she was slowly down and i didn't want to push her.
I should've done a 60 min step mill day but I walked Stout instead and I'm feeling really sluggish right now!
But i'm getting excited to up my miles again next week.
And the 5 Mile run was so bad! At times I ran good but I just wasn't feeling it…I dunno.
And i got new shoes, Frees wide 5.0

I got a custom made pair so I could put 26.2 on the tongue!
And got them in Mickey/Minnie Mouse colors for my Run Disney fix :) Someday i'll have a pair of the Run Disney shoes but I love these for now!
I laced them specially too as you can see this is how you lace shoes for wide feet.
I can't wait to run in them and make these pretty new shoes not so pretty
