Week 2 is done and boy was it a huge change from week 1! I think getting my nutrition down and doing my Meal Prepping has helped immensely. Also cutting out the eating out and alcohol. Tried Energy Bits again for my long run and I have to say it really helped! I have a coupon code for 30% to make it almost in my budget! I just hope I don't go through a bag quickly.
I'm getting better about running in this humidity, my miles are just slower and I sweat like crazy but you just gotta get it done. At least sun-burns aren't a concern!
I can't wait to get my new shoes, my shin splints are getting better with my foam roller and doing some shin strengthening exercises along with tuns of stretching but my toe nails are getting bruised already. Yikes!
Week 3 is a down week before my miles increase again and it's also my first 5k here in Michigan! Week 3 is going to be a fun week.
Just glad my week 2 has been so much better! Losing some extra fat and toning up is also helping allot.
