I have admitted to myself (and Mike and Stout) that I have been depressed. Moving is hard and this move has been the hardest yet, i've never been so homesick in my life. And not being able to run or even leave the apartment at time due to this weather has really been horrible.
But it's March and as the days go by and the weather gets a tad better (no negative degree temps or below freezing) I feel that "change".
I haven't been running. I have been sitting on my butt (which is getting bigger haha) and watching other runners due really fun races. Reading blogs about the WDW Marathon Weekend, Tinkerbell Weekend and Princess Weekend was something to look forward to! I just ogled all the fun everyone was having just wanting to do it too and missing the big picture.
I have allot to look forward to! My first Full Marathon and enjoying all the fun things to de here. Yes i can't really walk around the parks just yet (it's hiding under mounds of snow), or go hiking, or join that running club. But soon I can! And soon is all the hope I need.
And by the way The Rock n Roll Marathon series has come out with the Portland, OR Half Marathon and 10k finisher medals:
But I have been working on other things…I have begun to start my You Tube Vlogs. Just writing down ideas and getting the setup of my profile figured out. I'm not video-recording genius and I doubt these will be that great, but I enjoy watching other Vlogs about running and I hope someone finds them useful! I keep going back and forth on doing them….so we shall see.
And i've been slowly working on my spring/summer race calender! Next year will be pretty lame racing wise just because I'm hoping, possibly, maybe we will be getting married by the end of the year! And i need to save that money. Plus if we end up living in California like we hope too I'm going to signup for the Tinkerbell Weekend at Disneyland!!!!!!! And I honestly think that'll be it. Maybe some virtual ones since they're cheaper.
So I feel my winter rut ending and it's time to lose my winter weight gain as well!
And i'll try and stop sulking over other peoples races, especially Run Disney ones or that Portland R&R has way better bling this year.
